Summer Camps

A historic adventure awaits!

Summer camps at Colonial Pennsylvania Farmstead invite children to step into the past and discover the rhythms of life on a historic working farm. Through hands-on activities and historic skills, campers explore colonial history in an immersive, interactive, and fun environment.

Each week centers on a different theme, with activities that may include hearth cooking, textile work, gardening, blacksmithing, candle making, and caring for the farm’s heritage-breed animals. Campers gain new skills while experiencing the daily tasks that shaped life in early Pennsylvania.

Camps run Monday through Friday,* 9 AM to 3 PM onsite at Colonial Pennsylvania Farmstead in Ridley Creek State Park.

Each camp provides an afternoon snack and supervised free time after lunch. Campers will also enjoy cooling off in our stream and the farm's stretch of Ridley Creek. See our FAQs below for more information!

Registration will open February 1, 2026 for Farmstead Members and February 14, 2026 for non-members.

Please contact education@colonialfarmstead.org with any questions or to be placed on the waitlist for 2026.

*Revolutinary Farmers runs Monday through Wednesday.
