Founders Day
Join us in celebrating 50 years as a public site dedicated to preserving and interpreting Pennsylvania folklife. Discover how our “Museum in the Making” became a living history farm and the site’s ongoing preservation of historic farming traditions.

Revolutionary Science
Did you know that colonial people experimented with science every day? From cooking, to getting water from the well, to dyeing their clothes, every day was Science Day. Join us on the farm for 18th century science fun– discover how baking is like chemistry, use simple machines to perform chores, learn about our animals, and more!
Last admission at 3 PM.
Tickets: $12 adults, $8 children; Members Free

Discover how young colonial scholars learned and try your hand at writing with a real feather quill and ink and test your skills in penmanship!

Harvest Table
Save the Date! Harvest Table is back! Celebrate the bounty of the season at our historic 18th-century farm! Enjoy a lavish seasonal grazing table from Olive & Meadow, cider with Dressler Estate, colonial music, and hearth cooking in the Farmstead’s historic farmhouse—all in support of bringing the past to life with hands-on history.
