Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 children ages 4-12. Children under 4 and members are free.
Martinmas
As autumn draws to a close, join Colonial Farmstead for Martinmas, a traditional early winter observance once known as “Old Halloween” and celebration marking the turning of the agricultural year. Observed across early modern Europe and remembered in colonial Pennsylvania, Martinmas (the Feast of St. Martin) was a time farm families readied their homes and hearths for winter.
Storytime 1 PM and 3 PM: Sleep Tight Farm, A Farm Prepares for Winter.
Join us for a lantern walk at 5:15 PM to mark the turning of the year from light to dark.
Last admission at 4 PM. Tickets are $14 for Adults, $10 Children (ages 4-12), and $7 Members. Children under 4 are free.
Yuletide
Enjoy a festive day at the farm with the sounds of music, the smell of sweets and treats, and historic crafts and activities including candle dipping. Join us throughout the day for a very bovine birthday to help celebrate our ox, Rust’s, 12th birthday!
