Join the Farmstead in welcoming local historian and author, Gene Pisasale, present his 12th book, Sandy Flash and the Trail of History, bringing to life the intertwined history and lingering folklore of Chester and Delaware counties. Discover the fascinating history and legend surrounding James Fitzpatrick ,a Revolutionary War soldier turned Loyalist highwayman, known to locals as "Sandy Flash" who terrorized southern Chester County in 1777–1778.


Enjoy a presentation by Pisasale in the Farmstead’s historic farmhouse, followed by a Q&A session and book signing. 


Registration is requested. Registrants are welcome to check in at 2:30 PM in the Farmstead’s Visitor Center and explore the site prior to the presentation.  A perfect complement to the Farmstead's Lantern Ghost Tour performance.
